Ray was a standout athlete in high school, participating in football and track. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in April 1968. He later retired from Champion International after 39 years of dedicated service. In his younger years, Ray lived a spirited life before finding his faith. His deep commitment to Christ later became the guiding force in his life, shaping him into the devoted family man everyone loved. Above all, he was a hardworking and generous soul who made loving and providing for his family his highest priority.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Inmon and Ada Cupp, and his sister-in-law, Glenna Cupp.
Ray is survived by his brothers, Elmer Cupp, Jr., Inmon Cupp (Mandy), and Ronald Cupp (Tamara); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special friend, Darlene Conrad.
Visitation for Ray will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
