Richard Lazelle Inman

Richard "Richie" Lazelle Inman, age 87, of Hamilton, Ohio , went to be with his Lord and Savior he loved so much on September 14, 2025. Richard was born March 9, 1938 in Centerville, Iowa to the late Earnest Lazelle and Ruth (Bland) Inman.

On September 14, 1958, he married the love of his life, Rosalee Janice Gardner. Richard is survived by his wife, Rosalee; five children: Douglas (Terry) Inman, Lisa (Tom) Wall, Lori (Randy) Sgaraglio, Deana (Daniel) Snodgrass, Darren (Tracy) Inman, nine Grandchildren, seven Great-grandchildren with two more births expected before the end of the calendar year. A sister, Jerri (Inman) Moriarty, special Nephew and Niece, David (Joy) Peckham; close friends of the family, Tony (Holly) Wilson and Don (Carol) Ault.

Richard was first employed by Horner Boxes of Keokuk, Iowa; which eventually became part of Champion International, Hamilton, Ohio. He finished his employment with Square D in Oxford, Ohio up and until becoming permanently disabled. Richard loved being with his family, his friend, Tony Wilson, gardening, planting and caring for flowers, walking with his "Rose bud" on the beach. As Richard would say: "This is living".

At the age of 20, Richard accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in a small apartment in Keokuk, Iowa, kneeling on the floor. Richard never judged others, helping strangers, untold co-workers who he never turned away, giving selflessly and never needing acknowledgment. Richard's family and friends are already missing his smile and humorous "one-liners". But knowing he is without pain, being made whole again in Christ Jesus is Richard's greatest gift he left for his loved ones. Special thanks to Michelle, Amy, Molly, Heather, Jaime and Austin of Ohio Living Hospice for their kindness and care of Richard.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011, Friday, September 19, 2025 starting at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Mark Wilson presiding. Following services, Richard will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park.
