Robert P. "Bob" Downey, age 74 of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born on March 24, 1947 in Covington, KY, the son of the late Robert Earl and Emma Loraine (Auldridge) Downey. On July 1, 1967 in Wilmington, DE, he married his wife of over 41 years, June (Smarte) Downey, who preceded him in death on June 23, 2009. Bob is survived by his children, Andrew (Amber) Downey, Jason (Heather) Downey, and Michelle (Kaleb) Whightsel; granddaughter, Hailey; and sister, Andrea Downey. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Bruce Downey. A Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will begin at 1pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Ben Burge officiating. Interment will follow at Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum, Middletown.
