Age 88 of Fairfield, passed away on Sunday September 10, 2017 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. He was born on May 29, 1929 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Robert H. and Gladys (Bryant) Schulz. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was previously employed as Athletic Director and educator with Fairfield City Schools for 30 years. Robert was elected to the State of Ohio Athletic Director Hall of Fame and enjoyed spending time with family and golfing. Beloved father of three children, Jim Schulz, Michael (Debbie) Schulz and Sandy (Danny) Pabst; grandchildren, Michelle Schulz, Danielle Turner, Ricky (Amber) Turner and Keifer Schulz; extended family of 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and brother Tom (Beverly) Schulz. Memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday September 12, 2017 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. A gathering for family and friends will be held prior to service from 10am to 11am at the funeral home. The family suggest contributions be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
