

Age 79 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Cincinnati on November 21, 1934 the son of William Anthony and Renilda (Matz) Wuest. On September 29, 1956 in Cincinnati he married Arline T. Norton. Bob was a veteran of the U S Army and served Forest Park from January 1964 to February 1989 as a firefighter-EMT. Robert was a tool and die maker at Fisher Body for 31 years retiring December 1, 1989. After retirement at GM, Bob worked all over the U.S. with his cousin, Dick Koch, doing tool and die consulting. Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Arline Wuest; his daughter, Rebecca Wuest; grandchildren, Jessica Wuest, James Burnett, Alexander Burnett, and Anastasia Burnett; a brother, David Wuest; a sister, Cecila Kuhn Suagee; brother-in-law, Skip Maynard; sisters-in-law, Judy Wuest, Carol (Dick) Gatto, and Joyce Dudley; his Goddaughter, Kathie (Russ) Finney, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Robert William “Chip” Wuest in 2005; a brother, William Wuest; a sister, Mary Maynard; grandnephew, Brandon Gatto and his niece’s Nancy (Bill) Dolan’s son, Matt Dolan. Cremation has taken place. A gathering will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Ave at South D Street, on Saturday, March 29th from 2:00 PM till the Celebration of Bob’s Life at 4:00 PM . In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shared Harvest Food Bank, 5901 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Bob’s family extends a heartfelt thank you for all the love, prayers, and support shown Bob and his family. Bob believed in compassion, he never missed an opportunity to help someone in need, and never lost his sense of humor. His faith was strong, and he assured his family that they would be all together again.
