Ronald L. Buchanan

Ronald L. Buchanan, age 63 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Ron was born on August 5, 1951 in Cincinnati, the son of the late Carl and Mary Len (McMichael) Buchanan. On September 12, 1972, he married his wife of over 41 years, Mary “Molly” (Baldwin) Buchanan. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a pipe fitter at Smart Papers (formerly Champion) where he was known as “Buck”. In August of 2002 Ron became a licensed minister for the Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Molly Buchanan; children, Brion (Carrie) Buchanan and Lisa (Dale) Roberts; grandchildren, Devyn Paddock, Ashlynn and Hayley Roberts and Dominic, Dylan and Nicholas Buchanan; brothers, Pete, Frank, Thomas and Gary Buchanan; sister, Debbie Krebs: and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Buchanan; and sisters, Nancy King and Marilyn Snyder. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton with Pastor Dale French officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM untill time of service at the funeral home.
