Age 68, of McGonigle, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, April 13, 2014. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 23, 1945 the son of Luther and Pearl (Bowman) Cox. Ronnie was owner and operator of Ron’s Tree Service for over 35 years. He was a member of God’s Temple, NRA, a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Butler County Libertarian Party. Ronnie was a hard worker, great neighbor, and enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed Bluegrass music and being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Victoria (Baker) Cox of Oxford; his children, Keith Cox Jr. and Roxanne (Jimmy) Miller both of Hamilton; step-children, Tracey (Pam) Eades of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Jon (Emily) Prickett of Lexington, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren, Miranda, Tyler, Kayla, Ayden, Denver, Brayden, Krista, Sam, and Bradley; 3 great-grandchildren, Braden, Skylar, and Kaysen; a brother, Luther Cox Jr. of Rock Castle Co., Kentucky; sisters, Ann Johnson of Trenton, Jane Witt and Judy Cox both of Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at God’s Temple, 3600 Millikin Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 on Wednesday, April 16th at 7:00 PM with Pastor Valerie Trissell-McCann officiating. Friends and family may gather from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wed. at the church. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or God’s Temple.
