Rosalee Janice Inman

Rosalee “Rosie” Janice (Gardner) Inman, age 87, of Hamilton, Ohio, went to be in the arms of her beloved Richie and her Savior on July 15, 2026.She was born on October 28, 1938, in Centerville, Iowa, to the late Charles Albert Gardner and Nadine (Jordan) Gardner. On September 14, 1958, Rosie married the love of her life, Richard Lazelle Inman, whom she first laid eyes on in seventh grade and said to herself, “I’m going to marry that boy one day”. Having only a high school education, and through her hard work and dedication, Rosie advanced to the position of an Executive Assistant at Champion International Paper until her retirement.

Rosie was like an ambassador symbol of one continually giving. She spent her life doing what she enjoyed most…cooking for family, friends and neighbors, and planning parties and games for every celebration. Rosie loved creating special memories for everyone she knew. She genuinely cared for people from all walks of life, filling gas tanks and sought out the opportunity to feed those with less. She would offer clothes, shelter, and transportation whenever, wherever and to whoever was in need.

As a member of NFBC, Rosie served as the editor of the monthly newsletter for the seniors for many years. This was a ministry of love, where she shared scripture, encouragement, and even humor to uplift her church community which eventually expanded way beyond the original list.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Richard Gardner, Beverly Peckham, Phyllis Thomas, and Jim Gardner.

Rosie is survived by five children, Douglas (Terry) Inman, Lisa (Tom) Wall, Lori (Randy) Sgaraglio, Deana (Daniel) Snodgrass, and Darren (Tracy) Inman; nine grandchildren, and nine Great-grandchildren; brother, LeRoy (Butch) Gardner; sisters-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, and special friends too numerous to mention.

Utmost gratitude and “Thank you” to the entire Ohio Living Hospice team, and especially to Amy and Jamie, whose weekly visits uplifted Rosie’s spirits, as they cherished hearing the many stories of Rosie’s childhood life on the farm, and how she and her late husband met… the courtship and love story of Richie and Rosebud will never be forgotten.

Please join us on Saturday, July 25, 2026, as we celebrate the life of Rosie Inman. Visitation will be held at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011, beginning at 11:00am, until time of services, beginning at 12:00pm. Pastors Mark Wilson and Paul Hurst, officiating. Later, our precious Rosie will have her physical body laid to rest in Rose Hill Burial Park, knowing her present, perfect, imperishable spiritual body in heaven will never need any rest. Her love, wisdom, and unmatched savory hot meals will live on in our hearts.
