Russell V. Young, age 84, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 15, 1941, to the union of Ben Young and Anna Evans. Russell served in and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He was employed as a truck/delivery driver of heavy equipment for BCIS, Inc. in Fairfield, Ohio. Russell was best known for being a fun-loving individual and a fan of both The Cincinnati Reds and The Bengals. He enjoyed family camping trips and traveling to Florida, Wyoming and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill, and Ben; sisters, Dorothy, Carol, and Hazel; grandson, Layton.
Russell leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 61 years, Wilma Jean; sons, Scott (Susie) and Randy (Cami); brother, Delbert (Joan); sister, Arlene (Doug); grandchildren, Bryson, Ciara, Adriannah, Marissa and Jeremiah, along with other family and friends who will truly miss him.
A Celebration of life Service will be held at Fairfield Church of the Nazarene, 12190 E. Miami River Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45252 on Friday, September 4, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, followed by the service, beginning at 11:00am.
