Ruth C Carr

Carr, Ruth Caroline, age 87, of Sommerville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 11, 1937, to the union of Leo Guldner and Elizabeth Wetzer. Ruth enjoyed gardening and traveling to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg twice a year. She loved decorating for her family during all holidays.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Carr, Sr.; son, Wayne Carr, Jr.; brother, Leo “Bud” Guldner; sister, Elizabeth Evans.

Ruth leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Julie Carr; grandson, Daniel Carr; granddaughter, Lori Carr; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Anabel, Joseph, and Gabriel, along with one soon to be great greatgrandchild who will learn to cherish the stories and memories of Ruth.

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 from 10:00am-11:00am. Reverend Chris Current, officiating.
