Samuel Perez Marquez

Samuel Perez Marquez, age 82, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Michoacan, Mexico on September 16, 1943, to the union of Wenceslao Perez and Maria Dolores Ortiz Marquez. Samuel was a kindhearted, hard-working individual who was always willing to help others in need. He was a loving family man who cherished his children and grandchildren, often telling them stories of his life’s adventures and of his proud accomplishment of being in the U.S. In his free time, Samuel nurtured his peach trees so that all could enjoy his labor and workmanship.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dolores Perez Marquez; sisters, Raquel Ruiz and Domitila Perez.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Raquel Calderon de Perez; sons, Jose Martin Perez and Jaime Perez; daughters, Patricia C. Perez (Ramon Soto) and Lucia Perez (Jose Jesus Lopez); grandchildren, Adrian, German, Alexander, Christopher, Valerie, Ashley, Nicole, Julian, Leilanie, Elianna and Emily; great-grandchildren, Sebastian and “Baby Martin” on the way.

Visitation will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 on Friday, June 19, 2026, beginning at 10:00am, until time of service, beginning at 11:00am.
