Scott Michael Jordan

Scott Michael Jordan, age 58, of Oxford, Ohio, passed away on June 24, 2026, at residence after a long illness. Born June 5, 1968, in Hamilton, Ohio, Scott was a beloved presence to those who knew him, remembered with respect for the steady, hard-working way he met the responsibilities of daily life and cared for the people around him. Throughout most of his career, Scott worked in healthcare and hospitality, fields that reflected his dependable nature and willingness to do the work that helps others. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Herman Jordan and Kathleen (Henson) Jordan; and by siblings Johnny Wooten, Shelia Allen, Herman Jordan Jr., Sharon Kay Jordan, Charles Eugene Jordan, Fannie Sue Jordan, and Ricky Lee Jordan. Scott is survived by his partner, James Murphy; two daughters, Brittany (Shane) Gay and Taylor (Riley Anderson) Jordan; four grandchildren, Maddox, Holland, Lennox, and Finnegan; a sister, Tammy Bolin; a brother, Felix Jordan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 10am to 12pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12pm. Interment will be held at Millville Cemetery.
