Age 25 of Hamilton, passed away suddenly at her home on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born in Redmond, Washington on January 17, 1990, the daughter of James Rex and Susan Ann (Roosa) Merchant. She was an artistic, intelligent, sweet-spirited young woman who loved her family and friends. She worked for the Cheesecake Factory at Liberty Center. Shannon is survived by her parents and three siblings: Parker, Emma and Ethan Merchant. A gathering for family and friends will be held Monday December 21, 2015, 6:00 to 8:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 212 S. Front Street, Hamilton, Ohio. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016, 2:00pm, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by the Narrows, 6730 N. 17th Street, Tacoma, Washington 98406. Donations may be made in her honor to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by the Narrows: Mexico Mission Trip.
