Shirley A. Bradford, age 86, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 6, 1940, and raised by her loving parents, Emery and Rachel Phelps. She held many job titles and responsibilities as a crew member at White Castle Restaurant.
Shirley was a woman who possessed a strong faith. She was a strong-willed individual who exhibited a passion for being a dedicated, committed mother, instilling values that her family continues to follow. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed crocheting colorful afghan blankets, creating sculptures out of modeling clay, and visiting family back in her hometown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Marvin, her sisters, Elsie, Doris, Virginia, Georgia, Geneva, and Ruby, and her grandson, Michael D. Spiegel, Jr.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Michael Spiegel (Brenda), and Jeffrey Spiegel; brothers, Paul, Wendell, and Emery Phelps, Jr.; grandchildren, Sarah and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Michael Spiegel III, Gabriel, Kadyn, Chase, Makayla, Gavin and Lana; a special niece, Debbie Spiller, and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011 on Friday, September 18, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, followed by the funeral service, beginning at 11:00am.
