Sue L. Bailey, age 72, of Hamilton, died on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Corbin, KY on November 22, 1939, the daughter of the late Elisha and Thelma (Flint) Green. She attended Wilson School then graduated from Hamilton High School. On October 9, 1957 in Liberty, IN, Sue married her husband of over 53 years, Robert “Cliff” Bailey, and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2011. She was a loyal member of Stahlheber Road Baptist Church. She loved her church dearly and had a deep appreciation for the pastor there. Sue was employed at Ohio Casualty, continued her employment at Ficks Reed Rattan Furniture Company and then went on to Beckett Paper Company where she was a supervisor. She had also been a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. Sue is survived by her two sons, Bob Bailey and Rick Bailey of whom she was not only the best mother to but also Rick’s best friend, who he will deeply miss; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Bailey; grandchildren, Michael Harris and Siesta Rayne Bailey; two step-grandchildren, Lantz Wolford and Brent Eve; three great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Brown; special friends, Judy Bailey, Debbie Bailey, Gail Hickman and Jim and Shirley McWhorter; close family friends, Grizz and Rick “One Kick” Martin; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special dog, Sassy. Sue was also preceded in death by her grandson, Rick Bailey, II; and brother, Robert Green. Family and friends will be received at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton, from 5-7pm on Friday, March 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held at Stahlheber Road Baptist Church, 1800 Stahlheber Road, Hamilton, at 11am on Saturday with Pastor Harold Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Stahlheber Road Baptist Church, 1800 Stahlheber Road, Hamilton, OH 45013.
