Susan Kay Gill, age 71, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, at UC Medical Center. She was born on July 29, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Paul Russell Diehl and Doris Jean (Johnston) Butner. Susan was a retired Truck Driver and had also worked as a school bus driver. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Susan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John David Gill, whom she married on August 2, 1976. John passed away on November 22, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her son, John D. Gill Jr. She is survived by her children, Donald (Leigh-Ann) Gill, Ronald Gill, and Krisstinna Gill; grandchildren, Katrina, Danielle, Tabitha, and Kaleb; siblings, Wilma (David) Barnes, Ray (Beth) Diehl, Ron (Celeste) Diehl, and Faye Ann Groom; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Gathering for family and friends will be held from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Memorial ceremony will follow at 12pm.
