Susie Mae Jeffery, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born on April 23, 1932 in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ernest and Emily (Johnson) Rudder. On July 9, 1950, she married Virgil “Tom” Jeffery and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1990. Susie was a retired ICU nurse’s aide for Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She is survived by her six children, Bella (Dennis) Bartelt, Mary Baker, Marcia (Fred) Kopp, Tommie Sue (Cliff) Hedden, Patrick Jeffery and David (Angela Settle) Jeffery; four grandchildren, Amanda Wood, Sarah Hedden, Alex Kopp and Clayton Baker; three great grandchildren, Atticus, Philomena, and Ryder; siblings, Rex (Carol) Rudder and Sandra Doan. She was also preceded in death by her brother Jack Rudder. Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Berean Baptist Church, 6342 Hamilton-Middletown Road Middletown, Ohio 45044. Funeral ceremony will follow at 12pm at the church with Pastor Steve Botts officiating. Interment will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
