

Thomas (Rusty) Russell Marinich, aged 63, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children. Born and raised in Hamilton, Ohio to Alpha (Strunk) and Tommy Marinich, his life was characterized by love, humor, and unwavering faith in God. Rusty's commitment to God remained steadfast throughout his life. He departed as he lived: bravely and with a heart full of love.
Rusty retired from Goodwill Industries HVAC after years of service with the City of Hamilton and Hanover Township municipalities. Known for his vibrant personality, Rusty enjoyed sharing humorous anecdotes, including sayings such as "You can either get busy living or get busy dying" and "I may not always be right, but I am never wrong." He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his jokes and stories.
Rusty was passionate about living life to the fullest. His hobbies included golfing, playing softball, hosting family gatherings, spending time outdoors, traveling with his beloved wife, singing along and dancing to his favorite music. Above all, he cherished spending time with family and friends. Rusty will be greatly missed, and his absence will be felt by all loved ones.
Rusty is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kimberly Marinich; five children: Dereck (Taryn) Marinich, Erica (Jacaree) Marinich, Mario (Lisa) Isgro, Nicki (Jared) Schaffeld, Tony (Crystal) Isgro; fourteen grandchildren: Jacob, Maya, Lily, Mason, Ali, Anthony, Laykin, Emma, Julia, Safin, Lyla, Maddox, Deacon, and Dawson; two great grandchildren: Jionni and Lucus; mother, Alpha Marinich; brother, Mike (Patsy) Marinich; sister, Carol Marinich; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Marinich and sister, Vicki Keim.
The family expresses gratitude to Faith Pentecostal Church, Reverend Rick Witt, and Hospice of Cincinnati for their spiritual support and exceptional care. Rusty was fortunate to have many life-long friends, and the family would like to thank them all for their kindness and support, with special thanks to Eddie Huffman and Danny Brock.
Rusty's family will receive friends at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton Saturday, June 7 starting at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial services at 11:30 with Reverend Rick Witt presiding.
