Velma Stacy, age 73, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. She was born on July 31, 1944 in Hazard, Kentucky. Velma worked as a housekeeper for all of her life. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing and traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Velma loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Goldie (David) Pike; granddaughter Amanda Pike; and brothers Billy (Tabitha) Sandlin and Irvin (Vickie) Sandlin. Velma was preceded in death by her son Lanny Sandlin, baby sister Sylvania Holland, and mother Laura (William) Sandlin. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 19 at 11am at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
