Verla Marie Weldon

Verla was known for her kindness and optimistic personality. She enjoyed volunteering, gardening, boating, bridge club and family vacations. Most of all, she cherished her friends and loved her family.

She married her high school sweetheart, Grover (Kirt) Weldon, who she loved and adored for 61 years until he passed in 2015.

Verla is survived by her three children Mike (Sue) Weldon, Joe (Lynne) Weldon and Sharon (Rich) Bailey. She will also be remembered by her seven grandchildren: Michael, Bryan, Sami, Julia, Scott, Alex and Brooke, along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Mary Ruth.

Services will be held on Monday, August 24, at Ivey Funeral Home in Hamilton, OH. Visitation will begin at 11 am; Funeral service will begin at noon. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
