Violet Louise Jones

Violet Louise Jones 79 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday morning December 26, 2014 at Bradford Place. Born March 22,1935 in Hamilton, Ohio, Violet was the eldest daughter of Henry and Dorothy (McNally) Barrett and was a strong and loving matriarch of her family. Violet retired from Rose Hill Burial Park and a career in bookkeeping in 2002. She enjoyed keeping up on current events, weekly visits to the hair dresser and was a wonderful cook. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Dolores Kelly and husband Walter Jones. Violet leaves behind her devoted daughter Susan (Babb) Cox of Hamilton, Ohio and Granddaughter Thea (Tommy) Walsh of Columbus, Ohio; step daughters Trudy Stephen of Hamilton, Ohio; Connie (Kurt) Wilson of Lawrenceburg, Indiana and Kristi (Russell) Kinsey of Hamilton; grandchildren Christopher (Shelby) Whitlock of Lusby, Maryland, Benjamin (Michaela) Little of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jennifer (Marcus) Akers of Reading, Ohio, Kevin (Anya) Kinsey of Vincennes, Indiana, Gregory (Brandi) Kinsey of Hamilton, Ohio and Katelynne Stephen of Hamilton, Ohio; 12 great grandchildren; special niece Alisa Winterberg; special great nephews James Pauley and Brandon Phillips and many other family members and friends. The family would like to thank to Vitas Hospice Care for their excellent care of Violet in her final hours.
