

JOHNSON , Wade L. age 85 of Hamilton passed away Thursday December 20, 2012 at Tri-County Extended Care Center. He was born August 11, 1927 in Hamilton the son of the late Minous and Lillie Mae (Miller) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during World War II. He was an excellent mechanic and millwright at National Can for 9 years and retired from Mosler after 32 years of service. On February 3, 1962 he married Mary L. James. Mr. Johnson was the best husband and father he could possibly be and greatly enjoyed going on family camping outings, boating outings, and many other family gatherings. He was the devoted husband of Mary L. Johnson; the beloved father of Eva Johnson (Derrell), Kenneth (Nancy) Johnson, Steve (Sandy) Dees, Nancy Dees, Kerry (Taria) Dees, and Cindy Rotte. He is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; one brother John Johnson; one sister Christina Spurlock, and special friend Ronnie Barker. Mr. Johnson was also preceded in death by his daughter Linda Dees Dimmett, son in law Michael Dimmett; his sisters Rosalie Carberry, Eileen Brooke, Myrtle Johnson, and Marie Johnson; his brothers Paul and Richard Johnson; his granddaughter Kelly Stumpf and his grandson Dustin Dees. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Tri-County Extended Care Center, Heartland Hospice, and to his daughter Nancy for the excellent care of Mr. Johnson during his illness.
