Walter James Rowlette

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Rowlett and Minnie Estep Rowlett, his wife, June Shumate Rowlette, and his daughter, Vickie Rowlette Slaughter. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Stella Rowlett Justice and Bessie Rowlett Simpson and his brothers, Theo Rowlett and Clifford Rowlett.

He is survived by his sisters, Ruby Rowlett Graham and Gladys Rowlett, his grandsons, Matthew Slaughter and Kevin Slaughter, his Son-in-Law, Charles Slaughter, many nieces and nephews and 2 great grandchildren.

Walter was a devout Christian. He was well known in the community for doing charitable work and was often found in the ballpark cleaning up the grounds to help beautify the community. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, coworker and friend to many. He had a life very well lived. He was loved and will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jake Jacobs officiating at Rose Hill Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Road Hamilton, OH 45011. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
