William "Bill" Leonard Brown

William "Bill" Leonard Brown, age 66, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on July 8, 2026, at Victory Ridge Hospice, Dayton VA Medical Center. Born July 1, 1960, in Gary, Indiana, William served his country in the U.S. Navy; a chapter of his life he was proud of and is remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Tiller. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Marie (Maloney) Tiller; his daughter, Carrie Brown, Beechwood Home, Hyde Park; and his sister, Brenda (Brown) Allen and her husband, Paul, of Cincinnati. He is also survived by his nieces, Lisa (Allen) Noonan and her husband, Ryan, Marcy Allen and Steffi Allen and two great nieces.

Bill graduated from Taft High School, Hamilton, Ohio in 1978. He will be missed by many friends from that time including Sandy Stamper and Steve Murray who were always there for him and with him in his last days. Bill was quite the entrepreneur as a young man and many will remember his brief lawn furniture business and his adult beverage business. Both were quite profitable, but not well received.

The family is thankful for the numerous friends, doctors and social workers who have taken the time to reach out and share memories of Bill through the years. He was loved by everyone he met. Bill was charming, funny, kind and loyal. He will be missed and remembered with a smile.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Hamilton, Ohio. A burial will be held at the Dayton National Military Cemetery at a later date.
