William Howard Wilson

William Howard Wilson, age 93 of Ocala, FL, celebrated his entry into Heaven on Friday, December 5, 2025. He was born in 1932 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late William H. and Lena (Byrd) Wilson. Howard is survived by his wife, Elaine, of 64 years. He served in the US Army in the Korean War and worked as an Engineer at Aeronca, Ortner Freight Car, and retired as a partner from Machine Tool Corporation. Howard is also survived by his children, Cathy (Brad) Dees, David (Carla) Wilson, and Kelly (Greg) Turner; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven; and sisters, Mayme Grathwohl, Marie Kobussen, and Virginia Ranquette. Howard was a dedicated member of Riverland Baptist Church in Dunnellon, FL. A Visitation will be held from 11am until 12pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will follow at 12pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Cecil Day of Lighthouse Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
