With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ageliki, surrounded by her loving family, on January 28, 2025. Cherished wife of Athanasios for 55 years. Beloved mother of Ioanna Galea (Lawrence) and Georgia Giannakis (John). The best and most loving yiayia to Panagiotis, Anthony and Angeliki. Survived by her sisters Dina and Eleni as well as her many nephews and nieces in Canada and abroad. Predeceased by her brothers Bill, Nontas, Nikos and Mihalis and sister Anastasia. She will be fondly remembered for her excellent cooking and her love of gardening, but mostly for her deep love for her grandchildren. Friends will be received at Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave.E., Hamilton, 905-387-2111) on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm with prayers at 7:00 pm. Funeral service on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church (233 E. 15th St., Hamilton) with interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
