It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Ailsa Craig McEwan (nee Peat) on September 3, 2018 in her 88th year. Beloved wife to Dick for 66 years. Loving mother to Debra Gail and her husband Don Dunbar. Cherished grandmother to Nicole Ashley (Chris Titmus) and Peter Craig (Madison Fung). She is survived by her sisters Margaret MacKay and Mavis Tait and many nieces and nephews in Scotland. She was predeceased by her parents James Copeland Peat and Annie Wright, by her brother James Cameron Peat, her sister Moira MacTaggart and by her nephew Cameron MacTaggart. Her family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Friday, September 7th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Hamilton Cemetery.
