Albert Edward Partington

Sadly our family announces Albert's passing on July 25, 2013 in his 88th year. Loving and devoted husband to Helen for 62 years. Cherished father to Mark (Carole), John (Cathy), Nancy (Bill) and Al. Loving Papa, Gramps and Grandpa to Allison, Laura, Kelly (Dave), Jamie, Danielle (Scott), Lauren, Jennika (Jervis) and one great grandson Max. Survived by his siblings Florence, George, Robert and their families. Predeceased by his brothers Norman and Jack. Albert was a retired employee of Stelco where he worked as a machinist for 42 years. He was also a WWII Veteran with the Canadian Armed Forces. Albert was a Mason and had many hobbies, but family was always his number one priority. He enjoyed family gatherings where he was always the life of the party. Special thanks to the Doctors and staff at the Juravinski Hospital E3 for their care and compassion. Visitation will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Stephen On - The - Mount Anglican Church on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. For those who wish, donations to St. Stephen On The Mount Church, Diabetes Association or Alzeihmer's Society would be appreciated.
