Peacefully at Extendicare in Hamilton on February 28, 2019 in his 85th year. Beloved husband to the late Dianne (nee Verhaeven). Loving father to Nancy (the late Dr. Tony Pracsovics) and Dan (Margaret). Cherished grandpa/papa to Adam, Nicole (Brody), Stephanie, Travis and Janine. Dear brother to Annie (Andre) and the late George (the late Angele). Albert will be lovingly remembered by many other family members and friends in Canada and Belgium.
Thanks to all the caring staff at The Wellington Retirement Home, Extendicare and to Dr. Karen Chan for their exceptional care and support. His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 20 Idlewood Ave. on Tuesday, March 5th at 10 a.m. followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery in Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
