Alden Kenneth Allaby

Al was an outgoing person who loved to talk with anyone and was generous with others. He loved his sons Chris (Cheryl) and Kevin and will be fondly remembered by his surviving siblings George, Stanley and Della, grandchildren Michelle, Michael, Connor, Cailyn, Cherith and Carson, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Joy in 2012.

From a family of ten siblings, he moved from Saint John, New Brunswick to Hamilton at the age of 19 and has been a proud booster of the city and his Tiger-Cats throughout his 91 years. Al enjoyed living at the Village of Wentworth Heights over the past six years. The family will not forget the tireless care, patience and love shown by all the staff there, especially as his health declined over the last little while. Cremation has taken place and in lieu of a funeral there will be a celebration of his life on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Harmony Baptist Church, 1763 Upper James Street, Hamilton.
