Alec Divers

He is survived by his two loving sisters Grace Divers and June Bogan and by his many nieces and nephews both here in Hamilton and his birthplace of Cyldebank, Scotland.

Alec will be remembered for his sense of humour and quick wit, strong work ethic and his own unique gift of storytelling. Alec was a dedicated and proud retired employee of LiUNA Local 837 for over 30 years.

He was a son, brother, uncle and a friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A special thank you to the nursing staff on 3 West of St. Peter’s Hospital for the excellent care and compassion.

Visitation will take place at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennel Ave on Monday, June 9th from 7 PM until 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at 10 AM at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish, 280 Limeridge Rd West, Hamilton. Please consider sharing a memory or story below for Alec's family.
