

Passed away peacefully at his long-time home on the West Mountain in Hamilton in the evening on November 24, 2022 surrounded by his wife Gloria, children, and grandchildren. Predeceased by Brothers & Sisters: Zaine, Lenworth, Alexandria, Audrey, Frederica, Roy, parents Sarah & Robert. Survived by his wife Gloria, Father of children: Lincoln (Jennifer), Jennifer, Jeffrey (Christine), and Patricia (Anthony), his brothers Arthur and Franklyn (Gloria), sister-in-laws Gloria and Sonia, nieces and nephews; close & extended family members across Canada, England, Jamaica, and other parts of the world. Alfred/Fred/Dad worked hard for his family and extended family. Often sponsoring, taking into his home, mentoring both family and friends that needed extra help with the joint support of his wife Gloria. Alfred and his soulmate Gloria were an inseparable team; they met a milestone of 60 years married on November 10th, 2022. They first met when Alfred was age of 16 years, immigrated to England in their 20's, then immigrated again with their children to Canada in their 30's.
Alfred retired from Daimler Chrysler in 2000, where he was employed as an Inspector and a member of the CAW. He was a resource to his family and anyone who knew him, he will be deeply and sadly missed by those who's lives he touched, family and those he knew or met him.
The family will receive visitors at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave East, Hamilton, ON, L9A 1T2, (905) 387-2111 on Thursday December 8th at 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. Alfred's funeral service will be on Friday December 9th at People's Church, 510 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton, ON, L9C 1X4; viewing starts at 9am, service at 10am.
The family thanks all medical services and sincerely supportive, patient, and caring staff that helped Alfred at their places of care, and at his home - many thanks.
