Promoted to glory on October 25th, 2015 at the age of 97 years. Predeceased by her first husband Darrell Fairbrother (1970) and by her second husband Samuel Elliott (2000). Loving mother to Deanna Shearer, Linda Secor, Lorraine Waycott, the late June Smith, the late David Chase and the late Karen Moore. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Terry Moore. The family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King St. E. on Wednesday October 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th at 11 a.m. in the chapel. A private interment service will take place on Friday. Donations to St. Peter's @ Chedoke or to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.
