Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on October 23, 2015 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Ada (nee Venditti) for 66 years. Loving father of Filomena Silvestri, Franco Silvestri (Brenda) and Gina Silvestri. Cherished Nonno of Sandra Debney (Alex), Roseanne German (Dwayne), Dino Mollica (Tanya), Karla, Mark and Lisa Silvestri. Great-Nonno of Cody and Andrew Debney and Kayla German. He will be sadly missed by family and friends in Italy, USA and Canada. Alfredo was a retired employee of Dufferin Construction after several years of dedicated service. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Roman Catholic Church (Parkdale and Queenston) on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 11:30am. Entombment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. Donations in Alfredo’s memory, may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
