To Alison's Family, I was shocked when i heard of Alison's passing. I met her through a friend- Chiyo and ended up going to the same church. Alison got me involved in the Worship committee because she" needed a helper". She was always ready to help me out when i needed to find ushers for Sundays' service. She was gentle and kind and a friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. RIP dear friend. You can watch us from heaven and send guidance our way. Cherishing all our happy times together. Dearest Alison – you were more than a friend to me, more like sisters. We have known each other for a great number of years, since we were little girls at Bishop Anstey.  Our school days were an enormous treasure chest of fun and laughter.  And then as we parted to further our careers, we never lost touch with each other – always at the end of a phone line and latterly via emails and texts messages.  You have supported me and my family through our various bereavements, giving so willingly of yourself which you continued to do for many others throughout your life..  We must not forget the times we met with our BAHS ‘girls’ on cruises and other holidays.  Although there is no healing balm for the pain,  these precious memories will provide us with strength and comfort in the coming days, weeks and years.  As Isaiah 43: 1-2 – says:  “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When 
you pass through the waters, I will be with you….”   Our Lord and Saviour has called you and we must let you go.  Dear friend and sister,
 I hope the sunshine of our friendship will bring warm thoughts and showers of your love and inspiration, and will bring growth and life to
us all.  Thank you for giving me and all your friends an opportunity to

Our condolences on the passing of Allison.  The Araujo family  have been friends with Auntie Dolly, Stanley and Allison for many years. My parents visited Allison and Barry when they resided in Vancouver.

I am heart broken by the loss of my dear friend Alison. We knew each other since the early 1960's and remained close friends ever since.
Alison was a joy to be around. We spent a lot of time with each other   and even went on trips together. For example, we visited the Holy Land in 2012.
   Alison was known as a person of deep faith and she lived a life of compassion and devotion to the needs of others. She met challenges with grace and resilience. She always had a cheerful smile and was a good listener. 
  On behalf my husband Emmanuel, and my family, I send sincere condolences to Alison's family and to all her many friends around the world. 
May she rest in peace.
