Wow... To say I'm shocked would be an understatement. I've been searching for Amaryah for years after loosing connection with her when she lived in Toronto and I lived in Mississauga. We both had moved away from Hamilton and met up a bunch. She was the coolest girl I have ever met. I'll never forget the All Ages nightclub  days. Taking limos to nightclubs at 14... She was so much fun to be around. She was such a beautiful soul...Her whole family is amazing! I have so many memories with her. I will forever cherish them Amaryah...I send my condolences to all who knew her..

I am so incredibly saddened by this; I can’t believe your not here I know I’m a year late but I just googled your name cause that’s how I would get a hold of you we would laugh about it afterwards when I’d come pick you up to stay with me a few days . You were my closest friend I still remember when we first met I was 12 you were 13 we lived on the same street we did everything together and shared some of the most incredible experiences. You were like a sister to me and you were like family to my family it didn’t matter how long it was since seeing each other when we’d meet up it was like a day hadn’t gone by . Last time we were together was 5 years ago but you were on my mind and I’d always say hey I wonder how Amaryah is doing ? Let me look her name up and call her I miss her .. 
Now I’ll never get that and it breaks my heart but I also know you were an angel and god had other plans for you 😔♥️ I love you Amaryah and you will definitely be missed . God Bless your beautiful spirit 🙏

Hi there, my name is Lenin John.  Last night I found out randomly that Amaryah had died.  My new friends and I were talking about going to Halen's Point and realized that we knew the same people. I asked them if they new my best friend Amaryah.   They gave me the tragic news.   
I feel so sad of her lost and I didn't have a chance to say good bye.  Amaryah to me was such a special soul on this earth and was my best friend. One of the few people in my life who I felt a true special connection.  We first met when she moved to my building on 409 Huron Street.  We talked, hangout everyday and went to the beach.  We had such deep conversations.   She would talk about her travels and her wish to move to the country.  We shared the love of Toronto Island and felt blessed to be close to it.    When I was really sick, she always tried to help me.  I would help her on her projects.  Everyday we visited each others, to borrow things or for conversation or for advice.  We had such a connection.   In time she finally moved from Huron finding a better apartment so we couldnt meet as often.  I remember us talking about this change. 
 I always believed in her mission. I try my best to support her.  I always remember her wanting to open a spiritual retreat in the country one day.
She would tell me things about her family, Her mom, sister and dad.  I remember so much how she loved her black roots and always would comment on it.  
I am so sad that I missed her funeral, I didn't know.  I wished I had the chance to say good bye.   She was so important person to my life.  I always told her that she was the "white cell" of there earth.  the few who were healing to the many with their heart, teachings and soul.  I will truly truly miss Amaryah.  Although she didn't get to truly complete her mission, I going to dedicate my life to somehow keep her memory and mission alive.   I really wish to meet with you all, family.   Please accept my condolences.

My deepest condolences to Ruth and Esther and your family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.
I remember meeting Manna in my late 20's early 30's.  I'm not sure she knew this but she was such a light in my life and filled my heart with love and hope.  She was so young and I much older and she was the one who helped me....Her love, her smile, her heart gave me so much happiness and made me feel so good.  Manna made me cool, showing me how to make my very own music CDs.   I still play those CDs to this day and smile thinking of you Manna and how we had so much fun making those CDs.  Especially since you didn't know a lot of the songs but downloaded them for me anyway.  
I will always remember the laughs we shared, the love I have in my heart for you and now more than ever I will cherish the music we made together.  I always thought or hoped we would reconnect somehow, someday and I am so sad we didn't.
Our world has lost a beautiful soul, a beautiful woman, a beautiful light.  But I know you are shining brightly!  You have a special place in my heart that makes me smile and my heart fills with love every time I think of you.  Rest in Peace beautiful Manna

To be in her presence was to be in the presence of an angel. She enlightened me as she has the people here who mourn and celebrate her life. Always safe to talk to and gentle. Loving friend who when ever we bumped into eachother we smiled at eachother like children I always felt. Rest in paradise Amaryah ❤️ 


I best remember Manna as a young child when she would come north with her family. We had delightful times together. One special memory is when Tody and Charles helped the girls build an igloo. They spent the whole weekend building and playing in it. Manna grew into a confident and beautiful young woman who traveled the world but left us too soon. My deepest condolences to Ruth (Mom) and Esther (sister). 


So sad we remember her lovely spirit when we hung out in Kensington market!!!

Anyone that ever had the pleasure of knowing Amaryah would understand that she was one of those rare people that radiated positivity and left you better for having known her.

A simple chat about nutrition was a salve, and a glance of her smile was enough to leave you uplifted.

My sweetness, you grace me with the gentlest of smiles. The light of acceptance and tranquility radiates from you. A body of love and peace surround you & blossoms from your presence, unlike I've ever witnessed before. You can't help but be loved, respected and protected by all that you bless with the charity of your giving soul. Like a flower, even the angels flock to your side, to be recharged with the healing glow of your vibrance.

I am truly blessed to have spent so much time with you. Living together on the Islands and making snow angels in the snow, hugging & kissing the trees together, sitting in meditative silence beside each other - I will never forget the love you've given me. The kindness you gave to everyone. The Islands and you are of the same nature - a powerful force of benevolence & accord - the generous reconciliations that can only come from pure love. Rarely will we see the likes of a person with as much goodness as you, who unburdened our pains.

The multitudes of people you affected in this way is not insignificant. Our community has lost the heart of our communal soul, the pillar of strength and kindness that we all aspire to. I know I speak for many, as so many have contacted me with these same thoughts.

I cannot and will not imagine The Magical Islands without you. That can not be something I can fathom or hold in my heart. The Islands and you are bound by the same energies, entwined in all things of great beauty and wonder.

You will forever be in my heart and soul. I can never forget your words of wisdom and the gentle smile you always gave to me. The way you said my name...will echo in how much I miss you. You are a gift, and I thank you for your courage and being who you are.

Amaryah was a special kind of soul that walked the planet as if she were floating through. What a kind soul. Can't believe that she is gone. Although her soul is roaming around I'm certain of it. I did not know her very well but her presence was very kind and gentle whenever I would run into her at the island. We both loved it so much. We had the fortunate experience of having her visit our home at the beginning of 2020 and I remember thinking what a beautiful 
woman and gorgeous energy.  We both have a love and a passion for all things holistic  and thought that we would maybe do a workshop together at some point after the pandemic. But alas it was not to be. Life is precious and fleeting. Seize the moment and cherish every single second. Fly free sweetheart. And come back soon! Lots of love. Victoria

Amaryah was one of those beautiful souls who are all too rare in this world. From the moment we first met she stood out as someone unforgettable and inspiring. Even though regrettably we didn't get much opportunity to grow very close, I always felt seen by her and accepted for who I am without any need for pretence or falsity. I know that many others felt the same. To say that she will be missed is vastly an understatement. I am honoured to count myself among her friends. I sincerely wish I could offer more comforting words of support to those who feel her loss most keenly. Yet even so, she will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew her, even if only far too briefly.

The first time I met Amaryah I was drawn in by her beautiful energy. We clicked and exchanged numbers. Sometimes we'd meet up or just happen to run into each other in Kensington.  

The last time I saw her she was apartment hunting in my area. She called to see if she could drop by for a visit.

I can still see her sitting at my table raving about how good the Moroccan couscous I got from Sobey's was. We had great conversations that day. Then she slapped on one of her YouTube playlists and we danced around the livingroom. She was so much fun to be around. 

We lost touch after I moved west. I often thought of her and wondered how she was. I always hoped our paths would cross again. 

My sincerest condolences to the Lewis family and to everyone who knew and loved her. My heart goes out to you all. She will forever be missed but never forgotten. Rest well my beautiful friend. 

Amaryah was a constant light to so many of us in our Kensington community. Even on the dreariest days she would always have a slight smile, and  ready with an empathetic ear to all she encountered. Her light shall live on in all of us her as I will never forget her impact on my journey through this life. 

Amaryah was a special Angel on earth, The Healing Angel, but now in Heaven with the rest of the Angels, her spirit will touch so many more and make such a difference in people's lives. She always put others first in her caring and giving and as someone said think for others especially in caring, that is how Amaryah approached life in a very positive way. I was so blessed as her roommate, good bud, and a fellow Angel to have been touched by her over the four years. She's not gone and her spirit walks among us, she's in our heart, and our Guardian Angel and setting the highest standards of what one should be in caring and giving in Life's Journey! 

This was very unexpected. I always met up with her in the summer. It
was a pleasuring conversing with her, and above all she managed to heal
my leg with her wisdom and ointments.

So much joy will be missed.

Your spirit is brilliant, you were always sharing your love and your gifts of healing and friendship to everyone you met. You were generous with your time, your understanding- and helped anyone who needed it. You knew how to connect to others deeply, on otherworldy levels- you reminded everyone how to reconnect to love. Our conversations and adventures are forever cherished. I will never meet anyone like you, but I am so, eternally grateful to have shared the past decade knowing you and growing as friends.

Amaryah brought a great big light and joy to Toronto Island. I always would look forward to having her amazing homemade juices whenever I saw her there. She was an amazing healer and and a great friend; and will be greatly missed by us all! This summer, a great big chunk of Toronto Island will be missing!

I ve been with sweet Amaryah , at the beginning of covid , since march , april 2019,  i  lived with her and jerry at their apartment , we 're all happy , a lot of sharing about our lives, my memories with her cant be bought with anything.
She s a beautiful soul , in and out, very caring, and really sweet, full of life. She treated me as her eldest sister. This is something that it will haunt me til the rest of my life.. what  a great lost ..

Amaryah was a beautiful soul and I knew her for a decade or more. We were living the Bohemian dream in the big city and we shared a love for Toronto island as an escape from the hustle and bustle. The island was a special place for her and she told stories of the beauty and magic it gave to her life. It took me a while to understand that place and it's healing energy as much as she did. I'm grateful to have known her and send my condolences to the Lewis family.
