It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Anastazia on January 21, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She is now re-united in Heaven with her parents, her husband Jaroslaw (1997), her son Michael (2013) and her granddaughter Justine (1992). Loving mother of John (Christina), Joyce Gallagher (David) and Helen Brenton (Paul). Cherished Baba of Christine (Greg), Nadine (Mark), Stefanie, Lisa (Jeff), Ryan (Katie), Stephen (Ashley), Kelli and Lucas. Beloved Great-Baba of Kali, Christian, Jillian, Brayden and Ashlyn. Survived by her sister Paraska, extended family in Ukraine and Poland and sisters-in-law Stefka and Luba Dmytruszko. She will be sadly missed by many friends and family near and far. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with Panachyda at 7pm. Funeral Service at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 260 Melvin Avenue on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
