Peacefully with family by his side on December 6, 2017 in his 94th year. Beloved husband to Eva for 70 years. Proud father to Tony (Joan), Janice, Dan (Philly) and Marla Piche (John). Prouder still of his grandchildren Julie (Jeff), Jillian, Sean, Kevin, Alisha and Nicole and great grandchildren Benjamin and Ryan. Predeceased by his parents Rose and Salvatore. Dear brother to Lena Farrauto (the late Charles), Mary Woods (the late Tom), Carl Marranca (Colleen), the late Tina Farrauto (the late Jim) and the late Andrew Marranca (Mary). He will also be dearly missed by all his extended family and friends. A heartfelt thank you to the staff of Regina Gardens, especially Cootes Paradise for their compassion and care. The family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 50 Brucedale Ave. E. on Thursday, December 14th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sts. Peter & Paul, Building Fund or to the Heart & Stroke would be greatly appreciated.
