Predeceased by her husband Marko and beloved son George, she is survived by her son, Joseph Petrovich (Teresa). She will be forever missed by her sister, Vera Vukovic, nephew, Tone Valcic (Michelle & Luka), nieces, Mariana Basic (Mladen) and Anka Vukovic. Anka is now reunited with her late mother and father, brother and sisters.
Anka had a strong faith and devoted her life to the care of others. She founded the Petrovich Home for Special Care, which she ran for 55 years, and ensured those that entered her home were given the best care possible with love, empathy and understanding. Everyone who entered her home, were always welcomed with open arms, a warm cup of coffee, a sweet treat to warm their hearts and wonderful stories she loved to share. She had the biggest heart and great love for her friends and family. We will miss her strong spirit, her generosity and her belief that every human being, especially those in need, are deserving of God’s love and her care. A special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa, Heritage Green, in Dundas.
