Ann Elizabeth MacWhirter

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth (2017). Loving mother of Rebecca (Ed) and Joshua (Bree). Cherished nana of Nick, Malachi, Jewel and Cooper. Survived by her cousins Maggie (Wayne, and their children Jeremy, Jasmine and Jessa), Jan and Doug. Predeceased by her cousin Don.

Ann worked many jobs throughout her life, such as security, Slater Steel, childcare provider and working on campaigns for politicians. She was very kind, loyal, honest, trustworthy and respectful towards others. On her spare time, she loved to knit and watch TV, such as Bill Gaither and Jeopardy. She loved to travel, going to places like Israel, England, Western Canada and Graceland.

Resting at Cresmount Funeral Home, Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave. E, Hamilton on Friday, March 24, 2023 for visitation from 1-3 p.m. A chapel service will be held at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Society or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
