Predeceased by his beloved wife Elizabeth and granddaughter Katie. Loving father of Helen (Fred), Wendy (Erwin) and John. Cherished grandpa of Rachael (Ian) and Denise (Bruno). Survived by his brothers Ivan and Milan. He is also predeceased by his brothers Stipan and Nikola. He will be missed by his extended family and friends.
Longtime employee of International Harvester and retired after 30 years of service. He was an avid gardener and was very proud of the tomatoes that he grew. Ante cherished conversations with his granddaughters. He was always up for a Tim Horton’s coffee and a muffin.
Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Monday, March 9 from 4-7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home’s chapel on Tuesday, March 10 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
