He was born in Paradiž (Labin), Istra, Croatia on September 15, 1943. He grew into a man known for his generosity, his steady presence and the way he made everyone feel like family.
Toni was the devoted husband to Alice Batelic, with whom he shared 57 years of love, partnership and countless trips to Atlanta, Florida, California and Croatia. Together they built a family that brought them immense pride and joy. He was the loving father of Walter (Angela) and Nadia (Walter) and very proud grandfather of Mark (Veronika), Daniel, Anthony, Adriana and great-grandfather to Eleanor.
Toni will be remembered for his warm, friendly, and outgoing nature, who loved visiting and entertaining friends and family. Toni was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and made sure to pass down his passion to his children and grandchildren. Nothing brought him more joy than tending to his garden and tinkering in his garage. He worked as a machinist for over 40 years and was known as a mentor to his colleagues. He was a loyal friend, a loving father and the steady center of his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
