Attilio will be reunited with his beautiful wife Maria Bollella (Di Vito), who has very much been missed. Not a day passes where she isn't in our loving thoughts. Son of Luigi and Rosaria Bollella of Rotello, Campobasso, Italy. Amazing and loving father to Luigi Bollella and Marcella Donat (Angelo DiPietro) and cherished Nonno to Jessica and Angelo. Brother of the late Erminio Bollella (Michelina). Brother-in-law of Enea (late Clara), late Michele (late Kathy) and Nicola (Rosa) of Italy. Survived by wonderful nieces and nephews.
Attilio was born in Rotello, Campobasso and migrated to Canada in 1951 at the age of 19. He worked at Dofasco for 30 years as a burner. Spring time was his happiest time, as he looked forward to his favourite sport, fishing and of course, his passion for his vegetable garden and beautifully designed shrubs and plants.
Attilio passed away in his world of paradise, his home. The only reason this was possible was because of the love and dedication shown by his son Luigi.
We would like to say a special thank you to Michelina and her children Peter (Franca), Daniella, and Rosena (Enzo) for always showing their love and support. Attilio cherished his long-time friendship with Faro and Maria Giannola.
Many thanks to Dr. Trus and Dr. Profetto, who cared for him for so many remarkable years. Many thanks to the PSW's, who were amazing in all aspects of the home care provided and went above and beyond any of our expectations. Particularly Maria, Attilio's angel, who showered him with love and joy.
