Passed peacefully at McNally House on January 22, 2018 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband Patrick. Loving mother of Paul (Sam), Pat, Gail and Anthony (Cindy). She will be fondly remembered by her 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Betty was a longtime employee of Dofasco until her retirement. The family would like to thank the staff of McNally House and the palliative care team of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care. A visitation will take place at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the Delta) on Thursday January 25 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 120 Sherman Avenue North on Friday January 26 at 9:30 am followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
