With great sorrow we announce the passing our dear father and grandfather on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Willowgrove Nursing Home in his 91st year. Beloved father of Randy (Dianne) and grandfather of Stephen, Kristin, Tamara, Sara, Nicholas, Matthew, and Brett and great-grandfather of Garrett, Clariese, Hunter, Lucas, and Kaylen. Bern will be missed by his sister Carmel, his sister-in-law Linda, and his niece Ruth and their families. Predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie (2010), and son Richard (2008). Bern retired from Stelco in 1984 having served many years as a foreman in the cold mill. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Highway 53. Donations to the Leukemia Association would be appreciated by the family.
