Suddenly on June 19, 2012 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Betty for 58 years. Loving father of Eric (Cheryl) and Ken (Shirley). Cherished grandpa of Matt, Melinda and Brittany. Predeceased by his sister Agnes. He will be dearly missed by his friends at the Hamilton Tartan Club and the Stoney Creek Legion. He was a member of the Institute of Marine Engineers. His family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King St. E. on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel followed by cremation. If desired, donations can be made to the Leukemia Society.
