Birute Sadauskas

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Birute Sadauskas, on April 26, 2025, in her 95th year. Born on October 23, 1930 in Lithuania and immigrated to Canada following WWII. Birute touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness and grace. Cherished mother of Joseph (Sherrie), Victor, Ruta (Arvydas) and daughter-in-law Isabelle. Devoted and caring “Baba” to John, Andrew and Sebastian. Birute is reunited with her late beloved husband Jonas and dear sister Aldona. She will be deeply missed by extended family in Lithuania, Germany, The United States, and by close friends and family in Canada.

Visitation will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton, on Wednesday, April 30, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Lithuanian Martyrs’ Catholic Church, 2185 Stavebank Road, Mississauga, on Thursday, May 1st at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lithuanian Children’s Relief Fund or a charity of choice.
