I met you and Bonnie 63 years ago and became close friends. We started out family’s together shared trips and played cards till midnight!

Dear Ken, Shelley, Sandra , Tracey and families, many , many years ago two of our Canadian cousins arrived at the home of their Aunt Grace in the village of Shebbear , Devon, England. How excited we all were ! Those two SPECIAL cousins were Ken and his wonderful wife Bonnie . 
Within a very short time of their arrival we felt we had known them forever ! 
This meeting began the most precious relationship we could have ever hoped for . We have had many special visits together with Ken , Bonnie and their lovely family. We cannot begin to express our deep sadness at the very sad loss of a Lady we loved with all our 
 hearts . We know the precious memories you have of our dearest Bonnie will be a small comfort in the days ahead . Our thoughts are with you all and we send you all our love and only wish we could be there in person . From Phil, Val ,Debbie, Jamie, Richard, Emma and families xxxxx

Dear Ken, Shelley, Sandra, Tracy, and all the sons-in-law, grandchildren and that precious great-grand-son whom Bonnie was so thrilled to hold - you had a wonderful partner, mother, and grandmother.  Her life was love and service to her family and her community- her mother, her siblings, her church, the nurses she made caps for, the church choir, the girls who made cards, so many circles of caring.  Some of her circles had gotten smaller recently, but she still kept her curiosity, her kindness, her great love of people and life until the end.

It's taken a few days to be able to write this without being overwhelmed by the emotions of my own personal loss.  Bonnie was my pretty , capable big cousin , one of the sweetest, kindest people I'll ever know - and smart and capable and confident.  And she was a link to and part of my past in the way no one else can be.  Much love, Bonnie.

First of all I would like to give my sincerest condolences to you all.
From the first time I met Bonnie she captured my heart.  Her kind, thoughtful and sincere ways made her such a special person.  I think of our time spent with Ken and Bonnie and her lovely family with such affection and always will.  Bonnie always had a smile to give and you instantly felt at ease in her presence, you felt as though you had known her all your life.  I often used to think I wish I could pop round and see her for a coffee and a chat.  She was so easy to spend time with. 
I feel so grateful for the relationship we had.  
One very special lady who will always hold a place in my heart .

Dear Ken:  We received the news of Bonnie’s passing and are instantly reminded of the joy she brought to so many. First to you Ken, her partner in the true sense of the word. Then to her children and grandchildren and to her friends and community.  Peter and I were always touched by her hospitality and generosity toward us. Monica and I were saddened to hear of the passing of Bonnie.  Having known her for at least 40 years through Linden Park, I can recall her leading the Youth Group, working with her on the Pastoral Relations Committee, her friendship with Mom (Joyce Franklin) and of course their common connection of the UCW just to name a few.
