After losing my mom  and going through my second Christmas  without her my world has never been the same . My heart goes out to you all. Your mom / wife was an angel on earth . She was always so warm and kind.  She also took my son's name to pray for him in her prayer groups. Amazing lady inside and out.  God bless her and may she rest in peace. Branka was my best friend for the last 20 years. She called me her sister.  I was glad to get to Stoney Creek in Ontario this past October and got to see her smiling as her granddaughter proudly announced to me that she was going to be a big sister soon.  I think Branka's eyes nearly popped out of her head when Athena told me as it was a hushed family secret after angel Seraphina!  I am so glad that Branka was blessed with rainbow baby Talija last December.  She was so happy that Talija arrived safely.  
  
Branka will be missed by her swimming buddies!  We had some great times at Brewster pool early morning lane swimming where I first met Branka; me in the fast lane and her in the slow lane.  

I will treasure the memories of her on our camping trip to Prince Edward Island in 2013.  It took me 3 months to convince Ante that he should let her go with me on our 3-week trek east together.  We spent 12 days at Red Point Provincial park walking on the  
 beach, watching glorious red sky sunsets and smelling the abundant Lupins in the fields.  She got angry with me because I was stand-up paddleboarding on the ocean and she could no longer see me so presumed all sorts of things about me having had an accident.  When I paddled back to shore after about 1 hour away, 
 she was so mad, she wouldn't talk to me for about 1 hour; that's how much she loved me.  We travelled about  5000 km on our journey that summer.   She will truly be missed by me and Al.  Love you Branka and Ante.

The passing of Branka was a shock to all of us on Sunhaven Court.  She was such a friendly person,  always ready to lend a hand.
