Bruno Emilio Gobbo

August 3, 1920 - July 11, 2012 Peacefully, with his wife, Rina, and family at his side, at the Juravinski Hospital. Loving father of Rosanna (John) Battaglio, Laura DeVincenti, Peter (Linda Magis) Gobbo. Devoted Nonno of Stephen, Jeannette, Elizabeth, Daniel and Andrew. He is reunited with his four sisters, mother and father and brother-in-law Nino. He is survived by many relatives in Italy; Gemma Trevisan; Rino/Adelina Busatto and families in Canada. He was well known for his talents and accomplishments as a bicycle builder and worked for many years as a welder/sheet metal worker. He also had a passion for fishing and hunting. Bruno touched the lives of many people and will be sadly missed by all. Many thanks to the 3rd floor staff at Grace Villa and the doctors and staff at the Juravinski Hospital Ward F4. Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home , 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Sunday, July 15, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery to follow. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Grace Villa Nursing Home would be appreciated.
